Reading
Students are expected to read a minimum of 20 minutes each night as part of their reading homework. Students will also have one piece of literacy homework (reading comprehension, phonics or writing) every night that will be due the following day. Although students will not have "paper" homework on Fridays, they are still expected to read and complete their Reading Logs in their binders.
Math
Students will receive math homework most evenings (except for
Fridays)! It will usually be the Math Expressions homework/remembering page
from the day's lesson. Math homework is always due the following day.
